Mental Health Awareness
I support the efforts of a network of groups that work together towards raising awareness of mental health in our community. This group is called "Mental Health Promotions Committee".
Mental health impacts many people's lives and often leaves families and people broken. I believe raising awareness in the community is the first step in finding answers and solutions for the people who suffer daily.

This painting is titled "A Helping Hand".
This past May 2008, I helped with the display of the "Framing the Phoenix" art exhibition in London Ontario.
This exhibition is the fourth one of its' kind. The exhibition is meant to celebrate mental health in our community during Mental Health Week.
The art work in the exhibit was all submissions by local artists and sponsored by the Mental Health Promotions Committee.
This painting, "Emerging Into the Light" was a commissioned painting I created for the Mental Health Art Exhibition.
